Project: Child Safeguarding Online course
This project focuses on the development of an online course centered around the Child Safeguarding Policy, a crucial requirement for implementation in Catholic Schools and Catechism classes, as well as any setting where members of the church community are expected to engage with children.
Primarily, this initiative offers a concise learning opportunity, complete with badging or certification, ensuring that schools recognize more than just a cursory understanding of the policy before individuals commence work within educational environments. The course is set to go live in January 2025
Project: Safe Science

Hazards in South African school laboratories often stem from inadequate storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals, as well as a lack of safety protocols and training for educators and learners. Common risks include exposure to toxic substances, chemical spills, improper use of equipment, and fire hazards. These challenges are compounded by resource constraints in many schools, leading to poorly equipped labs and insufficient safety measures. Addressing these issues requires robust policies, proper training, and adherence to safety standards to create secure environments that prioritize the wellbeing of students and staff.
Project: Cyber Safety – Online Awareness of Dangers and pitfalls

A course, designed for children and adults, provides essential knowledge on navigating the digital world safely. It explores the dangers and pitfalls of cyberspace, from online predators and cyberbullying to data privacy and misinformation. Through engaging modules, participants learn practical strategies for identifying risks, protecting personal information, and fostering responsible online behavior. With real-life examples and interactive activities, the course empowers children to make safe choices online and equips adults to guide young users in developing secure and positive digital habits.
Project: Sustainable learning centre
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our Sustainability Learning Space, a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower young minds with hands-on, practical learning experiences in science, technology, and sustainable living. This innovative project will provide a safe, supervised environment where learners can explore urban gardening, simple hydroponics, sustainable energy, and creative recycling through engaging activities.
Project: Sustainable learning centre

With access to cutting-edge tools and resources, learners will gain practical skills in robotics, coding, and science experiments, supported by certified educators with over 25 years of experience. Designed to address gaps in educational resources, this space is ideal for schools lacking necessary equipment and homeschoolers seeking enriched learning opportunities.
Backed by Sentinel Safeguarding and Ask Uncle Mike Tutors, the Sustainability Learning Space ensures an inclusive, low-cost, and secure platform for nurturing curiosity and innovation. Stay tuned as we pave the way for a brighter, sustainable future!
Project: No tricks Robotics
In South Africa, the rapid adoption of coding and robotics in education has led to a proliferation of pre-packaged products and programs on the market. While these offerings provide convenience and structured learning paths, they often strip away the hands-on creativity and problem-solving opportunities traditionally enjoyed by tinkerers. Instead of gathering components, experimenting, and building solutions from scratch, learners are increasingly confined to predefined kits and systems. This shift risks diminishing the spirit of innovation and exploration that lies at the heart of robotics and coding.

We will be lauching our online Robotics course in March. Check back mid February for more details.
🤖 No Kits, No Fuss: This approach won’t rely on kits (or endorsing them). Instead, it will point you to where you can find the necessary bits—often at a much better price, with delivery nogal.
🤖 Learn at Your Own Pace: It knows you’re sharp, so it lets you learn whenever you have a moment, whether it’s during a tea break or when Eskom grants you a gap.
🤖 Bite-Sized, Not Overwhelming: It assumes you’re keen but also understands that no one likes feeling overwhelmed—so everything is served in lekker, manageable chunks.
🤖 Variety is Key: No one enjoys the same old, same old. These chunks come in different “flavors,” letting you mix and match your own learning recipe as you go.
🤖 Purpose-Driven: This will be valuable whether you’re navigating the Coding and Robotics curriculum (rolling out at a speed that makes load-shedding look efficient) or just helping enthusiastic youngsters get ahead.
